Inground Pool Opening Details
The Inground Pool Opening includes a liquid chemical opening kit consisting of chlorine, algaecide, and clarifier which is the most well suited arrangement of chemicals designed to quickly boost your water quality after a long winters rest. Our inground pool opening also includes cover removal and preparations for summer storage, ladder and railing installation, return jet installation, diving board installation if removed, pump station assembly, boot up, detailed inspection as well as a basic brushing and netting of the pool if time, water level, and conditions allow - not a guaranteed part of the pool opening service. You will need to vacuum and brush the pool, possibly several times, after we leave due to settling debris as a result of the chemical balancing process and the natural process of your pools opening. We do not attempt to brush or net any pool that our pool service professionals cannot see the bottom of at the time of your opening to protect the integrity of your pool because we do not know what is on the pool bottom - You may be able to see the bottom of your pool a few hours after its opening due to the water being filtered and the chemical process of a pool opening. We also always like to start your heater up to assure its functionality for when you decide to heat your pool water pending our service technicians deem your heater in safe enough condition to do so.
We DO NOT clean pools as a part of our pool opening process unless you are a confirmed client of our exclusive weekly cleaning service.
In the event that you have a waterbag or tarp cover an automatic additional $50.00 fee applies and we ask that you drain as much water and remove as much of the collected debris as possible off of your cover before we arrive for your opening. In the event that you are unable to drain your cover and remove all debris from the cover so that we are able to remove it when we arrive for your opening, we will drain the cover for you and remove the debris for an additional minimum fee of $100.00+tax and a maximum fee of $180.00+tax. Your cover should be drained and free of debris enough for our staff to simply remove and drain your waterbags and remove your cover by the time we arrive for your opening. The cover draining fee applies as soon as we are required to put our drain pumps on the cover in order to remove enough weight (water and debris) for us to safely remove your cover.
Additional appendage fees also apply to pools that have non-standard equipment that is part of the overall waterflow system of the pool. Appendages include in-floor cleaning systems, water slides, attached spas, waterfalls, fountains, spill-over diving boards and other non standard equipment. Additional appendage fees are as follows and apply at both opening and closing - in-floor cleaning system - $45 to $90 depending on brand and head count (the amount of actual in-floor jets on the bottom of the pool. Most all are $45), water slides, waterfalls, buddy seats, cove seats, and diving boards - $15 per, attached spill-over spas with booster pump - $45 to $90 depending on quantity of jets in spa, and spas that are part of the pool system but do not spill over (completely independent) start at $100.
The Inground Pool Opening is an all-inclusive opening package for one price of $300+tax plus cover draining fee* where applicable.
