POOL OPENINGS

ABOVE GROUND POOL OPENINGS

As of January 1, 2022, we are only servicing our current clients for above ground openings. We are not taking on any new clients for above ground pool openings.

We are still taking on new clients for weekly cleaning services and closings only on above ground pools

Above Ground Opening Highlights:

  • Includes opening chemical kit

  • Cover removal with preparations for storage

  • Pump station assembly, inspection, and boot up

  • Only $200+tax for your complete Above Ground Pool Opening!

Above Ground Opening Details:

The Above Ground Pool Opening includes a LIQUID CHEMICAL opening kit consisting of chlorine, algaecide, and clarifier.  This chemical kit is designed to give your pool water the boost it needs to be up and running as soon as possible depending on your overall water quality at the time of opening as well as your care of the pool after opening.  The above ground pool opening also includes cover removal, and preparations for cover storage over the summer as well as complete assembly of the pump station and detailed inspection of all associated pool parts.

We only ask that you have your cover drained and free of as much debris as possible before we arrive for your opening.  In the event that you are unable to drain your cover and remove all debris from the cover so that we are able to remove it when we arrive for your opening, we will drain the cover for you and remove the debris for an additional minimum fee of $60.00+tax. Your cover should be drained and free of debris enough for our staff to simply loosen your cable system and remove your cover. The cover draining fee applies as soon as we are required to put our drain pumps on the cover in order to remove enough weight (water and debris) for us to safely remove your cover.  We also always give your pool a quick overall cleaning depending on the physical water quality and level of your pool during your opening. You will need to vacuum the pool again a few days after we leave due to settling debris as a result of the chemical balancing process.

By the time we are done, your pool should be swimmable in 4-6 days (this rough time frame gives the pool water a chance to balance out into the acceptably safe ranges for swimming) depending heavily on water condition when opened and your post opening pool care.  The Above Ground Pool Opening price is $200+tax plus cover draining fee* where applicable. We DO NOT, in any case, install ladders or steps into any above ground pool. Installation of your above ground entry and exit system (step or ladder) is the responsibility of the client in every situation.

To assure that your pool becomes crystal clear and perfectly swimmable in as little time possible, be sure to follow these post pool opening guidelines.  If, at time of opening, your pool is green, brown, or severely out of balance, we also offer a Water Reconditioning Service to help you correct the problem in the quickest time possible.

  • Only $300+tax for your complete Inground Pool Opening!

Inground Pool Opening Details:

The Inground Pool Opening includes a LIQUID CHEMICAL opening kit consisting of chlorine, algaecide, and clarifier which is the most well suited arrangement of chemicals designed to quickly boost your water quality after a long winters rest.  The inground pool opening also includes cover removal and preparations for summer storage, ladder and railing installation, return jet installation, diving board installation if removed, pump station assembly and detailed inspection of all pool equipment. Pool vacuuming is not a part of our regular opening packages and it is not a guarantee that we do vacuum the pool however, our crews may decide to vacuum the pool for you if water conditions allow - this is at the complete discretion of your service technicians at your opening. You will need to vacuum and brush the pool again a few days after we leave due to settling debris as a result of the chemical balancing process and the natural process of your pools opening.  We also always like to start your heater up to assure its functionality for when you decide to heat your pool water.

In the event that you have a waterbag or tarp cover, we ask that you drain as much water and remove as much of the collected debris as possible off of your cover before we arrive for your opening. In the event that you are unable to drain your cover and remove all debris from the cover so that we are able to remove it when we arrive for your opening, we will drain the cover for you and remove the debris for an additional minimum fee of $60.00+tax and a maximum fee of $180.00+tax. Your cover should be drained and free of debris enough for our staff to simply remove and drain your waterbags and remove your cover by the time we arrive for your opening. The cover draining fee applies as soon as we are required to put our drain pumps on the cover in order to remove enough weight (water and debris) for us to safely remove your cover.

Additional APPENDAGE fees also apply to pools that have non standard equipment that is part of the overall waterflow system of the pool. Appendages include in-floor cleaning systems, water slides, attached spas, waterfalls, fountains, spill-over diving boards and other non standard equipment. Additional appendage fees are as follows and apply at both OPENING and CLOSING - in-floor cleaning system - $45 to $90 depending on brand and head count (the amount of actual in-floor jets on the bottom of the pool. Most all are $45), water slides, waterfalls, buddy seats, cove seats, and diving boards - $15 per, attached spill-over spas with booster pump - $45 to $90 depending on quantity of jets in spa, and spas that are part of the pool system but do not spill over (completely independent) start at $100.

The Inground Pool Opening, just like the above ground pool opening, is an all-inclusive opening package for one price of $300+tax plus cover draining fee* where applicable.
